Chapter Five
The Rebuilders and their Accomplishments
King Trisong Deutsen once again asked Guru Padmasambhava: "Great master, during the confusing and destructive period of the dharma-ending era, the human lifespan is short, Guru Rinpoche already foretold that the great stupa will be rebuild, at this time where will be the reincarnation of the Kodi's guru Pema Kunchen? What will be his name? How can we recognize what his name is? How can we recognized him> Will he possessed many disciples and friends? What type of merit and accomplishment will be rebuilding of the great stupa bring to them."
Guru Padmasambhava replied: "Maharaja, you please listen well! Your doubt is indeed up to the point. During the later period dharma-ending age, when the human lifespan reduced to 50 years, they shall occurred 101 types of bad signs. At this peak of this dark age, Pema Kunchen will be reincarnated due to his own immaculate bodhisattva motivation. At the year of the pig at 'Wei' of Tibet's high land, he shall be born in the house of one vajrayana yogin who is skilled in miracle, he shall be named Pelan Sarpo. His mind's determination is strong and stable, his objective is clear. After he has made this wish, in life after life his wisdom shall be crystal clear, and whenever he is born he will possess faith, and believing in the three jewels, full of great bliss, venerating monasteries' abbots and the three jewels, and will be filled with respect towards the inner three vajras of body, speech and mind. His body was from the lineage of mahayana, towards sentient beings he is full of the heart of compassion, his heart's capacity, whether in charity, compassionate words and thoughts, all were immeasurable. He possessed the deepest realization towards the original essence of phenomenon's great bliss emptiness essence, he also had reached erudition of the wrathful Buddha's activities and dharma protectors' activities. He also completed his visualization and recitation practices, and has reached erudition the realization of the original essence, the inner mandala's dharma protectors all become his servants. He is like the innocent and beloved son, possessing faith towards Urgein Rinpoche."
"If this great guru's vows are not being broken, then when he is 25 years old, the great stupa will be rebuild. if there is any delay, but it will still be able to begin prior to his reaching the age of 32, and be able to complete the great stupa's reconstruction. But if after this period, war like hurricane will be exploded in Tibet and China, the terrifying and cruelties in this catastrophe will exceed the darkness by three times, famine and diseases shall cause countless people to fell into hell-like afflictions. From the north-east of China's high land border, the great armies shall intrude Tibet, their numbers equaled five times the seeds of white mustard, the sounds of terrifying agony will be like the great thunder. From the southern flat land there will be armies intruding Tibet, with numbers exceeding nine times the seeds of white mustard, the people terrifying voice will be like the dragon's roar. The armies proceed from the hills and wild valley, like flashes of lightning, and shall invade Tibet's western region. The highland's armies will invade the central country, burning, killing and capturing. Half of Tibet's civilians will be slaughtered, the monasteries will be destroyed, the Buddha statue being dishonored, humiliated, the sutras being stepped over, the sangha being killed. The villages that encountered the catastrophe will become a waste land, the remaining ones escape to Shekchin, Nepal, Bhutan, India, and Himalaya's mountain regions and become refugees. Those who remain due to their desire and clinging to wealth and lands, will be slaughtered like animals by the wild heredicts."
"This great guru, he possessed my empowerment, with his compassion for sentient beings, has no desire for anything for himself, due to the wrathful roar of truth causing lives to once again becoming wholesome, giving guidance and strength to the border country and refugees. When he has successfully causing the refugees to be united, when the sound of morality once again spreading high, he will lead the people to start rebuilding the great Buddha stupa. However the evil power of darkness causing the people who sunk in evil sins, like this great man possessing faith will be rare, like the stars in the day are rarely seen. But this great guru still possessed 130,000 disciples who observed the precepts, 106 gurus who possess power of invocation, 88 yogins who can uphold the inner samaya, 8 generous sponsors, 23 who possess the view of the path, 8 reincarnated lamas who can teach the 8 great bodhisattvas' secret, 25 heart-disciples possessing faith, 5 emanations of dakinis, 7 who have received the dakinis' blessing, 25 young girls born from noble family. He shall lead them, to removed their heart's ignorance, purify all the hindrances on the path. Later, he shall meet the vinaya master Khenpo Siadhila Kashrida's reincarnation, he possessed my anuttara pajna (highest wisdom), and shall meet you dharmaraja Trisong Deutsen's emanation, he will grant aid to sentient beings' afflictions, he will received the empowerments from you two, as such be able to completely rebuild the great stupa."
"If the great stupa can be rebuild as according to prophecy, the people of Jambudi will enjoy 25 years of prosperity and happiness. The fortunate people of India, Nepal, and Shekchin will be able to enjoy 33 years of wholesome returns. The people in the Land of Snow will have 60 years being separated from the occupation of foreign country, the people will have 40 years of prosperity, peace and renown. Those wishes of the followers of the right path shall become fulfilled. The dharma wheel turning at India Bodhi Gaya and Tibet's Samye monastery, shall not be damage by the changes of the four great elements, and that various type of hindrances that obstruct the spreading and propagation of dharma shall be cleansed. The rightful path will be spread far, many great siddha, lineage holders shall cause the lineage to be strengthen, and shall establish various type of dharma propagation model (example). Signs of accomplishment of various type of meditation practices, like practice stages of Deity Yoga, the recitation of mantra and so forth, shall be able to manifest without hindrance. All the ghosts, devas and strange spirits of Tibet, and the family descendents of dharmaraja Trisong Deutsen, and the country high officials shall all adhere to procedure to rule the country and conducting worldly affairs, leading the people towards the path, enabling the holy and capable one to stay at high seat, and the people received what they wanted. Those host of evil spirits and strange ghosts with ability to destroy Tibet, and the black colored strange animals who have sunken in the selfish desire of self-clinging, all will be destroyed and tamed."
"All the sentient beings who have participated in the prophesied rebuilding of the great stupa, after three lives, shall received the perfect heavenly or human body to hear the buddhadharma, in the end they shall accomplish the fruit of buddhahood within the western Padma Blissful World. If there is a person who possessed faith toward the great stupa, if there is a person who arises joy and happiness from the great stupa original essence, if there is a person who admired the great stupa, or if there is a person after the completion of the great stupa rebuilding project, who praises and rejoices in one voice with all Buddhas' and Bodhisattvas, after seven lives, shall become the Head of the Dakas' Commander at the Lotus Light Immeasurable Palace of the south-west Kaya regions' Sacred Copper Color Mountain top. If any sentient being in their heart visualizing the great stupa, or in their ears be able to hear the vibration of the great stupa, or by their eyes can see the great stupa, or being able to touch the great stupa, shall be able to purify all habitual tendencies of negative karma, removing the ignorance habitual tendencies of 600,000 great kalpas. All those who rebuild the great stupa with that great guru, whether by knowing or unknowing, all shall receive his empowerment of anuttara realization and siddhi power, after exhausted their human lives, shall be reborn in the real condition dharmadhutu of the assembly of dakas' commanders, coming to the feet of Urgein Rinpoche."
"Lastly, the great stupa possessed three levels of different realizations: First as explained in Chapter Three, the karmic fruit of offering and supplication prayers. Second, the karmic fruit of pure conducts, shall be able to ignite the inner's infinite original essence, this is also the teaching of all the buddhas of immeasurable kalpas of the three times. Third, merit of the immeasurable immaculate kayas, this is completely exceeded the state that can be illustrated by words."
After Urgein Padmasambhava finished saying, the host of disciples were uncontrollably terrified, don't know what to do, they can only being sunken within the flow of the great powerful empowerment, in order to sustain their passage of the dharma-ending period. After that, they once again express their thankfulness and praises three times for Guru Padmasambhava's disclosures.
